A beautiful, charming place. So relaxed. A couple of wooded nature trails, for the kids. Toilet facilities. Honey, and apple juice for sale. Many varieties of apples, £2 a kilo. Lovely staff.

To get here was quite a nightmare as the location placed made Google maps assume there was a road where one didn't exist. However if you drive along Pickering Road and go down one of the streets you'll get there. Not much parking available (as it's a normal housing estate) but once parked, the staff are very friendly, even telling you what apples go well with what, depending on if you're baking or eating etc. A great day out and some cool little mazes for the kids to do.

Absolutely love this place. Staffed by volunteers who are happy to talk about their produce, knowledgeable about all aspects of it and friendly too. Went end of September 2020 and a range of veg including rhubarb, turnips, corn and marrows were for sale too. £1 per kg of apples and most other fresh produce is a donation price only. Excellent local asset and as organic as it gets. Keep up the great work!

Lovely hidden gem. 2.5 kg of apples, 4oz of brambles, Apple juice from the orchard and local honey. Lovely little wildlife garden. Going back again in two weeks. Hoping for some pears and plums. Fantastic place.

My allotment plot backs on to the orchard, love just walking around it especially the wild garden. Great value produce offered for sale from September on. Highly recommended well worth a visit on the open days

Absolutely fab, great afternoon out with the kids and grandparents. Everyone had a great time, we made a lovely crumble for tea when we got back, apologies for the kids eating some apples while going round they couldn't help it as apples where great. This is the third year we have been apple picking always great.

What a beautiful place. The charity I'm involved with had a stall at the Orchard's May Day event. Such a relaxing place to spend a day, a well keep orchard and allotment.
