Popped in today to get a library card and women was learning how to do everything she was very friendly we had a laugh i felt very relaxed other staff very friendly looking forward to going back having a broswe at what books they have ????????

Fantastic helpful staff. Library is always exceptionally clean tidy and reasonably well resourced.

A welcoming atmosphere encourages you to browse. A good librarian is helpful if you're stuck. Help also with computer use. Toilet and tea/coffee available
The unexpected is a great view.

fantastic library for a small town like whitby, its bursting with information with more than just books ! yes they have computers to use, the heating will be on in winter and grab a coffee whilst you relax
