I’m on a mission to visit as many day out places as possible before my maternity leave ends and I really enjoyed this one.

I had no idea it existed and I’ve lived in the area for over 10 years.

When arriving it seems quite small but there’s plenty to see and do. The staff were extremely welcoming and when walking around were always on hand to answer any questions.

The animals appeared really well kept and their enclosures were spacious and clean. We got to pet a little skunk and a ferret which made my day and watched the otters being fed.

Entry is £10 per adult and my little baby was free which is a reasonable price for the hands on experience you get.

Highly recommend to anyone for a little trip out.

Never knew this place existed. Personally I think it is the best zoo I've ever visited. Why? Because the only place where they keep rescued animals and treat them as pets. Staff tells story of the animal, shows how social they are and you can even can get a chance to stroke or feed them. Imagine meerkat rolling in staffs hands and asking for a belly stroke! Where else would you be able to see that!? Definitely worth the visit. All staff is very friendly. Small and cute place but definitely takes your heart. Will be back 100%

Really lovely little Zoo great friendly staff my. Daughters favourite place. Our favourite thing was to watch the otters lunch time. Video shown

Great little place to visit, it felt really friendly and personal. A family run place where the owner will come and talk to you about the animals. The children 2 and 12 really enjoyed it.
Very good price if your on a budget and a firm Green family favourite.
We will definitely be going again soon.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with our granddaughter. We had a warm friendly welcome by the staff. We fed the wallabies and a staff member kindly brought out a ferret for us to stroke. Even though the weather was really hot all the animals came out for us to see. Staff members were on hand to provide information about the animals. Keep up the good work and we look forward to visiting again

2nd time visiting this zoo, this time for an animal experience.
Carol was amazing when doing the animal experiences with us. Very knowledgeable and made the whole day great. Even after the experiences, she took the time to show us other animals and give us lots of information.

Will definitely be visiting again for another experience day in the future.

The whole zoo isn't huge, but it's still worth a visit. Enclosures are very roomy and well kept. Animals are all happy so show plenty of character.

Absolutely brilliant, staff really helpful and happy.
They really know their stuff too and the animals are all so well looked after.
Not loads of animals but perfect amount considering the keepers walk around telling you all about the animals, you can tell with how the animals act with the keepers that they are well and truly loved .
Would definitely visit again.
Food really well priced and the cakes are absolutely delicious ???? ???? really enjoyed it.
