Lovely setting, and I was fortunate enough to see a super moon whilst enjoying dinner with family.

The service was prompt and discussed the menu. However, we did have a few items not available from the menu as they were sold out.

We had the hot shellfish platter, which was wonderful, although there were no clams or mussels, but we did have additional prawns and scallops.

I felt the wine list could have a few more choices, especially to compliment the wonderful fresh fish.

Dessert choice was okay, but again, felt there could have been more of a choice.

I would definitely recommend visiting, we will return but will book a table for not so late to allow for a full choice from the menu.

Our first visit for a special celebration and was more than amazed. The food and service was outstanding. The best bit was the menu and the food was so good with flavours I've never experienced so good before, thank you for making the evening special ????. Just can't wait to go back.

New favourite place in Falmouth. This place is an absolute must go to! The location is fabulous with the most beautiful views. The service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble attentive but not obtrusive. Best seafood platter I've had in the UK, all our seafood was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious.

Beautiful location and friendly service. Bonus points for the lobster apparently being locally sourced. Quality seafood by the beach without being pretentious.
Book ahead as the restaurant was busy when I was there and had to turn people’s away at lunchtime.

Excellent fish restaurant with local options which I couldn't recommend more. On the pricey side but worth it for a special treat. I'll be dreaming of the crispy oysters forever!

Really relaxed lunchtime meal from the set menu. Two of our party were under the age of 6 and they catered for them perfectly. 1 dog also in attendance, welcome to sit with us in the outside dining area.

A great lunch. Would recommend

We were in a pub in Bradford-on-Avon where a local to the Falmouth area overheard our conversation, and said, "You HAVE to go to Hooked on the Rocks". So, since we are always looking for a hidden gem, we figured our days, and booked a table. Parking is at the park across the street, and in pay and display, but reasonably priced. There may be other local parking, but since we are travelers, we took the safe bet and paid..

The restaurant is directly on the breakwater/shore, and had bother inside and outside dining. We knew it would be a splurge evening, and it was, but not over the top for what use ordered. We were seated inside and started with drinks, enjoying the sweating views of the bay and coastline from our table.

The server said they had gotten in a HUGE lobster and still had one half left. Since I had planned on having my favorite frustration, I reserved it right away. My wife ordered Sea bass and both of us loved our food. The lobster was indeed a big one, the biggest I'd every had, but I left nothing on my place but his ruined shells. lol It came with a small salad, chips, and tartar sauce. For me, the sauce overrode flavor of the lobster and I asked for melted butter instead. I was a little surprised to be charged for the butter as it's a standard accompaniment in most lobster places. The beast was cooked to perfection and delicious. My wife's sea bass was amazing, (actually it was better than the lobster), beautifully plated and perfectly prepared. Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the photo of her dinner.

Lunch
A must visit.
We've been dreaming of this restaurant since our last visit.
Quite simply, it is the best place for Cornish seafood and shellfish in Falmouth.
The setting is beautiful overlooking Swanpool Beach.
On our way to our hotel, we just had to stop here first.

They serve a very reasonable set lunch
2 courses £22 / 3 courses £26.

Or you can also choose off the main menu.
For us, it's got to be falmouth Bay scallops, roe butter, smoked paprika, seaweed pangrattatoand 6 for £18.

Whipped smoked cods roe, grilled focaccia
Beetroot cured chalk stream trout, whipped cream cheese, cucumber chutney, trout roe.
The food is sublime.

We wanted to come back for dinner, but we couldn't find anywhere to stay for another night.
We have to return another time.

If you go to Falmouth, this is the place to go.
Makes sure you book, as we're not the only ones that know it's fantastic.
The staff are very, very friendly and professional.
You can also take your dogs on the terrace, which they love.
