Like the play area, good for 3 year old.
However the choices for vegan /dairy free have gone down hill lots over past couple years. A year ago could get soya milkshakes, cakes, oat milk for coffees etc. Now non of it. So wouldn't hurry back as I'm vegan and my little girl is dairy allergic.

I response to the play Mills response-
I last visited 1st July.
I did ask and they said no options....

Excellent play area for younger children.
Sand pit was amazing and very popular with our 2.
All incredibly clean and so nice to play and watch the children enjoy everything.

We’ve been to the Play Mill twice now while staying with parents and really love it. In my view a good softplay is not a huge one, but one that has lots of elements for children to explore without constant adult supervision (I.e having to crawl around after them!). Oh and a cafe for adults! So for me the Play Mill is perfect. The softplay is small but fun, and the big sandpit and ride on toys are such winners. The sensory room is also fab. I love the little activity areas - train track, kitchen in the sandpit. Only thing my 3 year old said she’d like is a small world area - dolls, dressing up - and some pots and pans in the play kitchens… but that’s being incredibly picky and she was happy to pretend. The food is also very good! Highly recommend, we look forward to returning.

So brilliant! A great place to take toddlers (especially on a rainy day in the peak district!) So much for them to do - including a sandpit and ride on's but well designed so they're not really out of your sight (great if you have 2 or more kids). The food is really good too and everything is really reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and it's nice and warm (we went in the winter). A fantastic 2 hr session :)

First time here yesterday as we had our 3 year old grandson staying with us. What a lovely find - great for younger children. He loved the huge sandpit and although the soft play is quite small it is very well designed. Lots of bikes and toys to play with and nursery rhymes playing. Friendliest staff ever, really impressed with the younger members of staff who were so polite and lovely with the children. An enjoyable couple of hours and lovely food in the cafe.

Lovely tea, very relaxed, no crazy noise levels no overcrowded crowded soft play area. Food reasonably priced and decent tea. Staff lovely. I just really like the calmer atmosphere, entertains my 4 year old without the drama.

Clean, inexpensive, a good deal on lunch. Would be five stars if the kitchen got a decent extractor fan. Our children love it and there are plenty of tables for adults to sit at. The big indoor sandpit is great!

I had forgotten what a great place this was. Used to go all the time with my boys, now 10 & 8. Had a friends 3 children for the weekend and so took them there, 7, 5 and 1. Great big climb in sandpit, nice soft play area, not too big so you can see your little ones all the time. Fantastic value too, £4 to get in! One coffee, one Cappuccino and one jug of juice £3.98!! We didn't ear there today, but all home cooked food. Highly recommend this for smaller children. Thanks for many years of fun....
