You have various options from here. Crossing the main road onto the path into the woodland will take you to Delamere Forest. Heading down the steps from the car park will take you on a lovely circular walk to Utkinton. You will need a map to guide you whichever way you choose. Highly recommended

Parked here to do the sandstone trail upto delamere forest lovely walk and well maintained path to follow and more paths to follow off the main. Lovely views on a clear day too.

Great little car park to gain access to sandstone trail, but can be very busy

Small free car park on the Sandstone Trail on the outskirts of the Delamere Forest. Signs say it is locked at 5pm. The path south descends a long set of steps which can be treacherous after rain and are a tough climb back up. The path north crosses the main road which is also treacherous with no bridge or crossing marked. No facilities. Can get quite busy

Good start point for a walk. Note that the car park is locked at 17.00.

Closes a little early in summer and gets very busy for most of the day. Great walks from here.
