Great little campsite with friendly host. Tent area had several flat areas to choose from. Toilets, dishwashing, and laundry area very clean. We appreciate the inside drying rack! Showers didn’t cost extra and the water was unlimited (no button to keep pushing). Wish we had stayed longer.

We stayed in our camper. This site is amazing beautiful surroundings and wonderful walks. But mostly the service is helpful and friendly and the site is amazing clean and all the services you need small shop at reception no milk or bread but we came knowing this. Definitely recommend for a stop off like us or longer to enjoy the peace and tranquility

Lovely caravan park - ideally located for exploring the area. Toilet block extremely clean and well maintained. A shame that some guests - regulars, by the sounds of it - insisted on being very loud into the early hours of the morning, but that's just pot luck.

Red squirrel sighting was a nice bonus.

Just spent two nights at this fantastic campground with our motorhome.
Immaculate grounds, huge pitches, immaculate showers and toilets.
Great walks, even saw our first red squirrel ????️

The warden was very welcoming and friendly!!!!

Lovely, clean, friendly and quiet site with great views. Nice shower block and generous pitches. A great place to stay or overnight.

Had an amazing week, being central allowed us to visit many places, having the red squirrels playing out the front of our lodge. Seeing the hairy coos and their babies, red deer. Lovely walks locally for the dogs.

We spent the night there after wild camping for three days over Ben Alder, the new shower block was wonderful. Tent pitch was kind on the pegs and level and seemed well sheltered. The advice to try the Burns Pizza plus a lager was spot on. Overall very good.

Fantastic site! We stayed (2 adults 1 dog) 22nd/23rd June having booked enroute. Found our own pitch but to be honest, there isn't a bad pitch on site. Plenty of EHU and spacious pitches that are immaculate. Separate areas for tents only, no EHU and log cabins. Everything is really well laid out with lots of space. Lovely shower block which seems new? Separate dishwashing and laundry room, I did a clothes wash for £4.
I paid cash when the owner arrived later that evening, very friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back, such a lovely peaceful site, highly recommended.
