Lovely place to visit. Car park near by not very big. Fantastic views on a good day. A place to chill and connect with nature. Plenty of wildlife to see. Including Buzzards that seem to sore over the rocky crags. Would be quite bleak on a wet and windy day.

WOW , what amazing view to look at from the tor , we saw a beautiful rainbow through the skies. highly recommend going there for a walk

Right at the top of the road that twists around the bottom of the Tor, sits this free to use car park.
Very rough and pot-holed entrance with a gravel surface to park on.
Through the gate and it's only a short walk up to the top of the tor.
Roads leading up are very narrow and the hedges can be overgrown, so be prepared to reverse or pull in tight.

good for wildnerness, but be very careful of the road to the car park and the car park itself - exceedingly narrow roads and hidden boulders make it a difficult drive.

Also, ticks abound during summer so watch out if you intend to go for a walk! We went to look for Sundews but sadly couldnt find any

Helman Tor feels remote despite it's short distance from Bodmin, this is in no small part due to the access being on narrow to very narrow roads. The car park surface is quite rough and care should be taken when navigating it.

Small but adequate car park, then short walk upto the rocks, great for picnics or just taking in the views as there stunning. Such a peaceful place.

Car park located right near the top of the tor. Leaves a very short walk to the tor.
