Nice breakfast.and it cheap but best thing the karka tea so nice

Freshly made arabic breakfast. Must try keema cheese paratha and beef nashef. Tea is also good. Their fresh orange juice is refreshing too. Paratha is soft and crispy.

Qarnein Eatery's Wagyo Samosa is a must-try! It's perfect for takeaway and even better when eaten hot. The crispy exterior and flavorful filling make for a delicious and satisfying snack. Highly recommended!

Wagyu Paratha is basically Keema with frozen Paratha for AED 15.

Lovely house with a very interesting talk before touring the rooms. The day we were there they had had a cookery demo and we were offered some rock cake made with an historic recipe, delicious.

We enjoyed this place very much. I advise to combine this place with Thomas Hardy cottage nearby.

Dashed over from T.H.'s birthplace. Did a self tour by preference - just before closing time. Parked on road outside. Given pamphlet to walk round with with useful info. Plastic walkway on drive as uneven. Gardens.

Good welcome from staff member. Free introductory tour from volunteer was v. good - informative, funny, setting the scene of Hardy & the pre-history of the site and answering our questions. Garden was restful. NT are short of space at this venue - a tea room would be lovely. Book your visit to avoid being turned away!

Lovely house to visit, guided tour in a small group after which we were able to finish exploring the house ourselves. Interesting talk from our guide who was enthusiastic and welcoming. We then went on to the Dorset museum, a short drive away, which also has a Thomas Hardy exhibition and finished the day perfectly.

After visiting Hardy's birth place, which is just a few miles away, I spent some time here. You have to pre-book a guided tour through national trust. Informative guide told about the the writer's life, marriages and friends.

Max Gate was Thomas Hardy's home later in life, so can see where he lived for the last 40 years of his life.

You must prebook the tour, which was about 20-25 minutes outside and on the ground floor before being turned loose to wander the upper floors.

The house interior furnishings were representative of his time, but only ~10 items were original as things were sold off after his death.

It was interesting to hear more about him, especially when coupled withHardy's Cottage a few miles away, but wished it had just a little more signage about his life, work, and wider family.
