We went to Ruchikoottu restaurant for the birthday party of my cousins daughter. They mostly have buffet with a variety of kerala based dishes. This restaurant is inside sharjah al qasmiya area. The buffet was not lavish with many items, but they tried to include chicken,fish,beef and also kappa in the buffet list which also had fried rice and parotta. All the items were of good taste. The seating capacity is limited and we were assigned the upper floor which is a bit congested if you are more than 10-15 people. But I would definitely recommend them if you are opting for a small and economical family gathering as the buffet at the time we visited was only 18 dhs. They have parking in the opposite side of the restaurant.

The Breakfast was okay.
Service was very poor.
Lack of staff was seen very well.

Had been here! Tried almost all the dishes available. Yummilicious to be frank! Good ambience, an amazing team behind it, nice service, plenty of parking, pocket friendly pricing... - very strongly recommended

Well a bad experience for me !
Ordered Sherry fish ???? in chilly curry (Meen mulagilithathu). You can see the photo of the curry they served. The whole fish was just cooked in the pot and given. Now the taste, no salt and no tamarind. No masala on the fish. ????
Porrota average.
The worst thing was to wait for another dish(Paal porrota) over an hour and finally left the place without having it due to this delay.
For those who have time and want to take chance go and experience the menu (please bear the risk upon yourself).
As for me hopefully will not visit this restaurant again.

Again for those who wish to try their buffets, well the menus looks good. Not sure about the taste though..

I never seen such a bad restaurant.
We went there 3 days before for lunch. They given rice and curry items which was very cold and like freezed.
This was highlighted to them but very bad attitude and no response.I will Never recommend this restaurant ????

I've tried their buffet lunch n biriyani. Buffet is good and worth the money. Lot of items for just AED13..Biriyani was just okay...

Too much overrated restaurant in the area. I had Chicken Fried rice once, chicken grill once, and chicken & beef biriyani. All were utter disaster.

On an impromptu trip I visited Sharjah Ruchikoot, the food and service I got from him was very good. My heartfelt thanks to all the restaurant members.
