It's a wonderful safe place to walk dogs, cycle and bring small children. There are informative boards all round the perimeter.
If you walk round (as I do) early morning the birdsong is lovely and you can hear skylarks singing. It's a great place to walk dogs and there are "poo bins"

Live nearby up here all the time.Best preserved world war 2 airfield left in England . Great for safe cycling with children. nice walks also all around with lovely meadows with wildflowers. Needs a tea room and small heritage centre shame to see old Raf buildings being left to fall down.
You can see deer up here, Skylarks and numerous Orchids a lovely space

An amazing space to spend time with the family, including the pets. Lots of bike riding opportunities. Good to see the gliders taking off and landing. Only a four star as the ground some of it has pot holes and weeds, but over I would and will be returning and would recommend to anyone wanted a pleasant place to walk, run or cycle alone, with family and pets.

Historically interesting airfield with a memorial. Nice place ti walk or run. The path around the airfield is about two miles. Tbe path is well mad and flat. Plenty of space for everyone. It's surrounded by kenley common.

This is an excellent site for gliding with views over the capital and an incredibly friendly bunch at the Surrey Hills Gliding Club. Former WWII RAF operating base with an interesting history, surrounded by the beauty that is the Surrey Hills/Kent/SE London.

I’ve been coming here ever since I was very little, it is a fantastic place to walk around. The history here is amazing.
