I had my mountain bike serviced today and a new set of brakes fitted. I have an ebike so the internal routing of the rear brake is by no means an easy job, but they have done an amazing job. Mark really knows his stuff, I have passed his details on to all my biking friends and I recommend you all use him and do the same. At his prices and the fact he comes to you to do the work it is an absolute bargain.

Mark arrived within the window he gave me. Excellent service as always, gave lots of advice on basic maintenance and completed the jobs quickly and professionally including replacement parts at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Cycle Care Leeds.

Unfortunately, my review needs to be updated. After having Mark bleed my brakes, the next day there was leakage from the back calliper. I appreciate that mark came out that day to look at it, to try to fix it, and it seemed to be fine for a couple of days, but then i had no tension in my back brake again, and checking the brake disc rotor yesterday when i got home, it has leaked again. There was zero issue with leakage before, all i needed was the fluid bleeding, so now i will have to pay for another technician/company to look at and repair this fault. One of the pistons did fall out from the back, as a blocker was not put in, so i don't know if that can cause an issue like this or not, but that is the only thing that seemed to go wrong at the time of his service. Not exactly what i wanted, but as mark said he was all out of ideas on what to do, there would be no point calling him out again. Mark is a nice guy and seemed to do a good job, and provided me with useful knowledge, but now my back brake is in a worse state than it was before, so i felt this review needed updating.

Mark was brilliant, reliable, knowledgeable, fair. Had to take one of my 2 bikes away for an extra repair, very reasonable keeping the cost down and delivered it back. Will be using all the time from now on. Actually did the work which is more than I can say for Evans cycles at Castleford!
Would definitely recommend Mark and with the added bonus of him being mobile, it's a no brainer

Having put up with annoying mechanical disc brakes for 4 years, but not wanting to change my Adventure bike, I asked Mark to install hydraulic disc brakes (which also involved new shifters & cables). Mark did a first-rate job and it's like having a new bike! I feel so much safer with hydraulic brakes and the gears feel better (gone is the irritating noise I'd had on the 2 lowest gears since buying the bike 4 years ago).

It's much better having a bike mechanic that comes to you, rather than having to take the bike to a shop for repairs, etc - Mark was able to explain about bits & pieces and offer advice while he did the repair on our driveway. Definitely a good experience and will use him regularly from now onwards.

Absolutely fantastic service and an absolute bargain. Replaced my free l wheel and did a full service. Would 100% recommend and will be coming here for all future bicycle repairs

Great service. Arrived promptly, full service carried out and additional repairs (new brakes) done at reasonable cost. Bike rides like new.
