This is a real beauty spot to the northwest of the city centre. The cascading water from the run of five locks is a tranquil soundtrack and the western aspects offer amazing views of sunsets.

Lovely place for a walk along the forth and Clyde canal, you can stop for a break along the way, there is alot of seating areas!

Urban haven in North Glasgow with beautiful landscapes Has a wide range of nice architecture and wildlife used by walkers and cyclist .

Fascinating part of Scottish industrial history. The nearby Kelvin Aqueduct is very inpressive given its age being constructed in the late 1700s making older than the vast majority of buildings still standing in Glasgow. Great to see the canal given new life for recreational narrow boats and cycle paths.

Beautiful locks and the keepers work well. Many locks up from the aqueduct a must see for boat people
