Wasit wetland is indeed a very beautiful place, be it for bird watching or to take a walk down their track, walking requires special permission, and the kids are not allowed.
When you buy your tickets and enter you will be asked to visit the bird enclosures, they do have a great collection of birds in there, this is very well maintained and very clean, you will get to watch these birds through the glass, and you will be staying inside the air conditioning all the time in here.
After the bird view there is a buggy ride where they take you around the lake. The staff here are super friendly and informative.

Ample car parking space available just in front of the main gate.

Beautiful n perfect place to learn about migratory birds, the importance of wetlands, and the impact of human behavior to other species.

There is a lot of information, so take your time to enjoy n learn, not only to look at the birds.

The tickets are available at the entrance with the security team. The price is 10 aed per person. All the staff are very helpful n friendly.

There is 1 long galleria, 1 activity room, 1 souvenir shop , 1 cafeteria , a few restrooms facilities, and a Safari style boogie that takes you to the observation points.

Ideally, visit during winter or after 3 pm during winter.

My 7 yrs old daughter really liked it.

We will be back in summer for sure. ????????????✔️

If you're a nature lover, you'd be amazed. A place very well kept in the midst of the city. Though we went in the summer, it was nice. And the cost is cheap too . For 15 dirhams a person you get a buggy ride and also see the birds from inside the facility. There's a place at the extreme end of indoor facility where you can sit and watch in the comfort of air conditioner. There were not many people. We reached early and even though it was a weekend there were only few others. Planning to go again when the weather is good and do a hiking.

As it was summer, the outer ride was not so enjoyable. It was a wonderful experience in the indoor. Happy to see the birds in open area... You can get tickets at the security gate. Nice car parking space inside. Better to visit after summer.

Nice place for a weekend outing with family. Indoor and out door trip included in AED15 tickets . Indoor birds view is quick and will finish fast . Outdoor buggy drive is really awesome with birds view. Drivers will stops on the view points. For better view go on the season time. Outdoor drive in the buggy is really worth , a man made forest in the middle of Sharjah.Loved the place ❤️❤️❤️.

It is a good place to visit with family. Please avoid going after 4pm as the outskirt drive will be closing by 5pm and you will have to wait. Apart from that it is good. It would have been better if they had a cafeteria or something similar inside the place.

I never knew about this beautiful place and just recently watched it on instagram reel and planned immediately to visit it along with my wife.

AED15 is the ticket price/head. I would recommend you to start your visit around 3:30-4pm and if you could walk the dont take the buggy.

It took us around 80 minutes to take a full round of this beauty.

Before going for this long walk you need to sign a form which would be done inside the office. Just follow the directions or ask the security. You could take some beautiful pictures there.

After you finish the round you must go inside flto experience some really precious and rare species of birds.

Winter time would be an ideal time to visit this place :)

This is a good place to spend time for families. They will enjoy the different species of birds and the inside tour. We did not expect the tour to be long. Ita like almost 20minutes. And we recommend you to visit before 3pm so you can stop at all the bird viewing point.

If you want a "nature feels", we recommend this place.
