We are so fortunate to have this facility and staff which are so helpfull and pleasant ,also a very good selection of books

Great place to go and chill out, no one bothers you at all. You can always get a computer, or something good to read. The place is always very clean and everything is where it is supposed to be.

I love our library. The friendly helpful staff have adapted with good will to the closures and the restrictions, the latter now ,thankfully, being withdrawn.

I just hope that the entertainments for young children will soon be restored.

Wide range of DVDs,audio books and reading material, including reservation requests.

I was under the impression that although the library is operating with reduced opening hours it was now open as normal for issuing and returning books. This is not the case: you have to queue up at a table at the entrance and you have to state what you are there for. You also have to sign a form before you can go in. You are supposed to know all of this even though it's the first time you have used the library since lock down in March 2020.
As someone who lives alone, is elderly and suffers from stress I found this an absolutely horrendous experience. I was feeling bad enough before I tried to use the library today and this negatative experience has just made things worse.

Very well kept tide library always with a stunning display of flowers outside. They have a nice young children's section & often do book sales they are armed with information & leaflets to take away. Toilets & baby changing. All wheels entrance .
