I have been to so many aeroports in my lifetime and never have I seen such a garbage airport. The duty free area is cramped and extremely expensive, half the plugs don't work. The WiFi doesn't work and all this in a airport that has the worst layout known to man, its like they decided to try and make navigation as painful as possible. I had to get my bag inspected for my flight to Australia and the staff member threw out all my packed clothes and once he was done said OK, put this back in. Nothing looked suspicious, just without a care in the world threw out all the folded cloths in such a uncaring manner. Also had I spend 20 USD dollars equivalent on chips, just chips because that was the cheapest option in the airport. And it was a MacDonald, this airport has lost its mind. I will try and actively avoid this airport even if it costs more, because it saves me the extra headache.

Very clean and well organised.
Staff are very good on there duties.
Immigration rules are properly followed.

Worst ever airport terminal after exit… Taxi dont want to pick short distance passengers… They dont even listen to the airport staff on duty.. Concern person/department should look into it.. Its been 10 years in UAE but never face the issue not even in Nepal or Georgia or philippines…

I have visited many countries and visited so many airport while traveling but trust me Abu Dhabi was worst. I have a worst experience ever. The staff of airport don’t know to talk with the passengers. Instead of help they shouting on people with aggressively. This was the my first time in Abu Dhabi and it would be last.
Never visit again. Improve Service, Quality, Passengers Management, seating area provide.
