Always impressive to be here. It is still very huge. Now under management of Mandarin Oriental. Before it was Kempinsky. That was a better style. They try now to do Asian fusion style all over UAE.

I like Asia, but if it comes to food style, they mix up in UAE Indian, Arabian, Asian and Italian style. Then they stir around and what you get is an unknown menu on your plate. It looks like pizza, but it doesn't taste like pizza....

Beside that personal aspect, the Emirates Palace offers a superb service....

Excellent for kids.
Pool opens at 07H00.
Slides open at 09H00.
Pools close ar 19H00 for kids.

A truly amazing experience. The club provides access to two beautiful and enormous swimming pools, a 1,5 km long Beach, free use of some water equipment (eg paddling board), free camel ride... And free usage of all sporting facilities. The service is one of the greatest ever experienced. The price (400 aed per person for a day pass) is high but justified.

Best Place Ever...People Loves to Visit The Place...They Are Very Entertaining and Friendly...The Hotel is Perfect Place For Accommodation and Relaxing as Well as Their Scenic Spots and Beaches ... You Will Love Their Foods as Well...Come and Visit The Place...There are Lots of Things To Enjoy...Camel Riding with Their Fantastic Tea and A lot More to Enjoy Both at The Beach and Swimming Pool...What Are You Waiting For Guys???

Wonderful local school, set in its own grounds. Often the school takes day trips to Egremont castle, and other areas of local interest. The children take part in the community, as well as the teachers.
With a zero bully policy, the school is friendly and most pupils actually like going to school to see their friends and favourite teachers. Once they leave they attend the Academy in Egremont. Ex-Thornhill students have a history of performing better than the surrounding schools.

Absolutely terrible service could hardly understand the man ( jockjiberish ) and don't even set me off about the woman all she was interested in was talking about her neighbors
