Excellent large venue. Can hold 350 seated. Wide range of quality Food and Beverage. The service was outstanding. A great venue for events.

Very clean and tidy with plenty of seating. Lots of staff. All facilities were well taken care of. They make a great cup of tea, and the food seems to be good.

5 mins walk from the train station and the post office.
Your security of persons and items are top notch. Friendly environment and people around.

I absolutely love student union, I must admit (embarrassingly) that I'm in third year and it's the first time I've actually gone inside to the bar part of the student union. There's a whole array of food, drinks, cocktails, music all day that you can control. Outdoor seating, booths, a whole bunch of seating depending on your mood. Closer to the windows for light, closer to the bar for dark/dim lighting. The food is absolutely amazing, I mean for just a student bar I wasn't expecting much but me and my friend loved all the food and it was reasonably priced. I ordered mozzarella sticks, Southern fried chicken goujons, chips, potato wedges, and a gin & lemonade for about £16/17. student union in general is super helpful, there's endless things to do here or get help with. Plus they have sleep pods... I know! It's insane in there, you never know what you might find. There's also a shop.

Student Union is a nice place where many events are held and lots of opportunities for students, but sometimes the staff needs to be more cooperative.

The space,and architecture is very impressive and handsome.On this sunny day,it was a very pleasant place to visit,and to walk around.
The student union is one of the best in the UK from opinion surveys.There is an interesting shop.I found the union building inside uninspiring,and provision of disposable cups questionable.
Well worth a visit,there are a few attractive pubs with outdoor seating which I would like to try.

Went for the Black Parade, Emo night. Massive let down. The DJ was abysmal, mash ups that didn't make any sense and cutting off songs half way through. Won't be back
