Do not use this car park sent me a fine for £100 I'm disputing this at moment because I still have the ticket it's a joke avoid

Machine only took coins, only had card. Tried online system, just said do not refresh page and did not process payment. Got fined as it’s timed entry I believe.
Terrible carpark.

*Do not use*
- Sent fine to the wrong address
- I payed and displayed but didn't keep my ticket as evidenced.
- No response from appeal.
- £60 - £100 fine for a town on its knees. I recommend staying at home and buy online.

Paid for 2 hours, was literally there less that 2 hours and still got a ticket, unknown why I did, had to pay a £60 fine. They didn’t explain full what I did wrong just charged me.

Accidental, short overstay on paid for ticket led to £100/£60 fine - so punitive and upsetting. Only fair way to charge parkers is on exit, this is nothing more than a scandalous cash cow for the unfortunate and unsuspecting, no wonder the car park was largely empty - look elsewhere if you want to stop a while in Whitehaven!

I found this carpark after dropping my aunt off at Whitehaven hospital. I do not know this town (I live in East Lothian, Scotland) & as it was very busy I was pleased I’d found this carpark. However I did not have enough change for a ticket & when I tried to register for the online system I could not get a signal on my phone. I asked a couple of folk if they had change of £10 - no luck. I then left. I have now received a parking ticket for £100 for being there for 12 minutes! Is this legal?

I arrived at 7:35. I paid £6.20 for 24 hours at 7:48 and received a £100 fine due to the unseen, unknown 10 minute rule. This is daylight robbery!!!

£60 parking fine for not paying in ten minutes despite no clear signs and no signal. Contesting this currently.
