Went to Illy in Yas mall, found the hair in penne pasta, no apology no comment from staff…after 10min they brought replacement we didn’t ask, we refused - still nobody came to apologize for hair…they fully charged us for pasta…surprised for such service in UAE.

The cafe is quite lil cosy and warm place but trust me their servings are quite elegant with taste and presentation both. The dark chocolate truffle cake was so hard to resist and the cute carrot cake with tiny fondant made carrots on the top. The jumbo cookie was soft and moist and not hard but a bit spongy. Donut was fine ill say.

A good italian style coffeeshop with lots of exciting coffee options apart from the usual lattes you have in coffeeshops. They are located in the centre hall of yas malls with the best ambience.

The one im having is Cappucinno Viennaise which is a Cappucinno topped with cream and chocolate powder. They uses Illy beans which is famous for its quality and preservations (IIRC they store the beans in a can topped with nitrogens to keep the beans fresh).

The only downside is because they serve at the table instead of counter style ala starbucks - when it gets crowded the waiters is so busy that the services took some time. Though i will definitely come again.

New layout in yas mall. Quite warm because of the large open space in the central atrium.
Good coffee as always. The barista has great talent In latte art. Draws a great likeness of ur face if he wants to. ????

Mango and strawberry milkshakes were so good. But we felt that staff dont like see us sitting and chilling at the table after we drunk shakes.

Mystery shopper consultation needed for this cafe :

Management need to consider a few minor observations that if taken care of would make the customer experience much more pleasurable and it will ensure customers come back :

After visiting multiple times ordering the same order taken by different waiters I noticed the following:

- waiters will leave me with the ipad abd go attend other stuff and will not return to take my order unless I actively waived or shouted so they can hear me .

- after i was done with the food , my cutlery was never removed unless I actively asked them to do

- after they removed cutlery they never cleaned my table and grease was on my table

- order taker will not attend the same customer, as in there is no designation for who serve who , a certain number of table should be assigned to the same waiter so that customers dont have to to repeat certain order details to different waiters.

Other than what i have mentioned this is one of the best cafes you will ever see the coffee is 1000 out a 10

Very nice location at the center of Yas Mall near the fountain; delicious food and great coffee and chocolate concoctions. The staff are also polite and accommodating to the customers.

Drinks taste were good
They are not accepting entertainer for all drinks "only for classic hot drinks"
