A quiet forest walk, with a waterfall, or two to take in.

Lots of things to see and do around this area,walks up to the Kilpatrick Hills and all it's many reservoirs,Auchnacraig Woodland park with lots of different paths and trails

Good wee walk from the car park straight up by the farmland and upto Jaw reservoir .. Mostly grass on the way up with a couple of boggy spots but it was a sunny day so it wasn’t too bad .. The reservoir is a nice spot to sit and chill for a bit before the walk down got some nice scenery up there .. If you take this trail it’s mostly gravel on the way back down just after you pass by the farmhouse . Good wee walk tho I’d recommend it!

This car park, and the surrounding environs close to the road, are disappointing due to the amount of litter lying around. This is not due to the lack of bins, of which there are several at the car park, but due to a lack of respect/intelligence by those who would appear to frequent Macdonald's.
