I have booked through Cranleigh taxis about 6 times in the last year or so. Every time my experience has been very positive from the clear advice from the phone operator to the taxi ride itself. On one occasion when I tried to book a taxi for the next day I was politely told that there were no cars available but that is not unreasonable for a business this size with relatively short notice from me. I would certainly say they have been a very useful and helpful company for me to date.

Our recent return flight from Europe was delayed by three hours. We kept Cranleigh Taxis (CT) fully informed throughout the delay. CT informed us they were unable to collect us, as previously booked, as our flight was so delayed; they had only two drivers working during the evening. I requested they arrange another company to collect us so we were not left 'high and dry' at the airport at 9.30 at night. The grumpy 'boss' reluctantly did so by referring us to another company which was considerably more expensive than CT''s quotation. I therefore texted CT to ask if they would pay the difference and the answer was, in no uncertain terms, 'NO'.

What sort of service is this? Surely taxi companies should by now be able to cope with the massive number of flight delays, they are an every day occurrence.

Just a warning as flight delays continue we suggest everyone ensures they use a company that has more than two drivers on at night and one that honours your original and confirmed booking.

We were loyal customers of CT but sadly not any more. Au revoir CT.

The trouble with dealing with a virtual monopoly is that they can provide a lousy customer service and be both rude and negative on the telephone and get away with it and still get customers. Their operating hours are restricted to the early part of the day and they shun anything that is local as there isn't enough profit in it. They're happy to go to Heathrow etc but anything closer and you can forget it. Don't even try to phone them from somewhere or other and ask for a ride back home, they won't be interested. I WISH we had an alternative service in Cranleigh with a fleet of vehicles and helpful switchboard which has long opening hours.

One of the drivers has bullied a disabled man in hes home i will be informing the ceo of this taxi buisness disability discrimination act 2010
TO THE OWNER OF CT NOT A PERSONAL OPINION ITS A FACT
this driver and hes friends have caused a disabled neighbour a great deal of distress ok no one should be bullying discriminating DISABLED LIFE IS HARD ENOUGH WITHOUT MASTY PEOPLE IN IT

I have used Cranleigh taxis to get to Guildford and also for airport runs to/from Gatwick. They have always been reliable, on time, friendly and good value for money. I will continue to use them as my first choice.
