Attractive small village pond aside main road teeming with water fowl and birds.
The surround leading onto a large grassed area is reasonably maintained.

My husband and l have just visited Pricked Pond, which brought back lovely memories of the past. This was from when l was a child to the day l got married 42 years ago in October at The Annunciation Church. ???? Last year there has been a path around the pond, making it more accessible. In fact l didn't know it was called Pricked pond untill just recently. Happy days. That why l give it 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A beautiful little village pond on Chislehurst Common that is seen from alongside the High Street in Chislehurst village. I visited Prickend Pond with my wife ( we married 42 years ago close by at the Church of the ANNUNCIATION, High Street, Chislehurst village) after we had a meal at Zizzi Italian restaurant opposite the pond on 26/7/22. We added more information on this pond in our reviews titled 'CHISLEHURST OPEN SPACE - COMMON' on our last visit 3/8/22. A place of happy memories unto ourselves. Seating around the pond and a network of accessible footpaths here - drier conditions summer months along paths. Disabled access but best keep to the concrete main footpath around the pond. A public car park with free disabled spaces - (displayed badge!)) close by Kingsley Mews ( off High Street) nearby oppostite the Chislehurst village signpost by Ashfield Lane. Best regards, Chris.

A nice, relaxing place to sit down and watch (and feed) the ducks if you like that sort of thing. Got a pub next to it as well, which is handy.
