It is not possible to cross the bridge on foot, which is not fully specified on the internet. We traveled by bus from Dubai, there were two routes to choose from and none of them had a stop near the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. In the end, we chose a bus that went through Abu Dhabi airport, got off at the stop in front of the bridge and hoped to walk it, but unfortunately we had to hail a taxi. We read that other bridges in the north are also not suitable for walking.

The correct name of this bridge is Sheikh Zayed Bridge (NOT Musaffa Bridge)

it is an amazing bridge. Very nice construction beautiful design beautiful architecture superb construction nice flow of water from Bridge to Deep. And also have a pedestrain to go cross the bridge to Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Masjid and you can come bin jasreen Abu Dhabi Gate city..

Musaffah Bridge is one of three strategic bridges connecting the island of abu dhabi to the mainland . it has a total of 10 lanes, 5 lanes on each side of the bridge.

This bridge barely has any traffic congestions and the speed is set at the best for it's amount of cars it accommodates daily . Barely any accidents happen in this bridge . This bridge overlooks the Fairmont Bab Al Bahar and the DOT on the left and Danat Al Emarat hospital is quite nearby to it on the right side . The police inspection point is also near to this bridge . This. Bridge. Can. Be. Found. After ADNEC - Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center which is beside the leaving skyscraper called Capital Gate which is. Near to Sheikh Zayed Grand Masjid. There are at least 4 - 6 Lanes . It is believed to have been built in the early 1976 - 1978. It is the most used bridge for those coming from Khalidiyah and Al Wahda Mall, AD immigration and Airport road. Before this bridge is a family park also known as Musaffah park that contains a range of courts from basketball, football and tennis. Children's playground is sufficiently farther from the courts to prevent bachelor's being close to family areas in the park. A lot of Filipinos though use the basketball court.
