What a hidden delight! Well worth the climb to the top of the stairs. Pleasant restaurant setting, friendly helpful staff, and fantastic food. Generous portion sizes and great value for money. Steak and Ale pie was delicious and the feta and spinach quiche was very tasty. Certainly worth a visit.

Been coming here since 1985. Always fab food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Quiche and fish n chips are my favourites!!

A nice setting and staff were pleasant enough. Slightly disappointed at the quality of the cooked food during our early afternoon visit.

We was not impressed the steak was flat and dry and all could taste was charcoal of the grill. The beef dinner was like you get from the corner shop for £1.50 we won't be going again sorry .
