Would give zero stars, beware do not park here. Got £100 parking fine after attempting to pay which was so difficult, we had to leave after 8 mins as we were due to see a show at the arc . Machine ate our money, keypad worn, difficult to make out letting and nothing seemed to happen when pressing buttons to try and get it to work. Dont usually have so much of an issue to park anywhere else. Seems purposefully set up this way. Its not part of ringo, which I have and is quick and easy to use and we couldn't just pay by entering details, you had to download an app! Why make it so hard!? Well no one else parked in that car park which we thought was strange so close to showtime. Guess the locals already know to avoid. So got £100 "parking" fine, thanks! . Never left car, spent whole 8 mins, first my friend then me trying to pay, failed so left. Ive even seen a piece in the Guardian about this car park and other similar reviews. Beware of this unfair system. I wonder how many others caught out here. Gutted that I have this fine, was a birthday treat for my friend that ended up costing me a fortune. Make it easier, get a fit for purpose macine and join ringo parkingeye. Disgusting behaviour.

Convenient for the venue I visited. However, the mobile app instruction to pay were on a sign very high up, difficult to see in a badly-lit area. The app itself is impossibly lengthy and confusing. Three attempts to pay left me unable to do so. I am not the first or only person to have these issues. Do NOT use this carpark unless you have change to pay at the machine. Impossible to understand why you can't just pay by card in 2023. Interesting to note that payment by card was met at a local bar with surprise. Go to Stockton with cash!
