Never had a bad meal here. And I eat here a lot. If you do the 2for1 steak night on Tuesdays, book early. My personal favourite is the burger though. And the sticky toffee pudding. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff. Absolutely recommend you try it out for yourself.

We were sightseeing in the area & at short notice booked a table at the Green Dragon for a late Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely table outside overlooking open countryside, the staff were friendly & welcoming, the service very good. The food was delicious, one of the best Pub Sunday lunches we have had. We had the belly pork and another of our party, the beef. The quality of the meat was excellent, cooked to perfection, as were the vegetables. Very good Yorkshire puddings & gravy too! Another of our party had the sea bass which she said was very good. We thought the meal was good value. We will return if we are ever in the area again.

Lovely little place, had the fish n chips which was fantastic, and the missus had the pork belly which she says was the best she's ever had. Great atmosphere, extremely good value, and outstanding staff, cheers

Sunday lunch here on a warm sunny June day. Looking out over open country as we ate and drank. Great hospitality and service and a great welcome, including for our dogs. Tasty starters, generous main courses and an excellent range of drinks. Worth a visit!

Pub - mostly a restaurant, not that many seats for just drinking, and the prices are fairly high for the food. Ample parking

After driving out to this inconvenient location for a special occasion the service I was met with was rude, blunt and unhelpful (specifically from a barman I met upon entry). Heard such great things regarding the food which was good. However, I wouldn’t visit ever again.

Went for Sunday lunch. Good selection on the menu and the food was lovely. I didn’t take a roast but it looked lovely and the vegetables seemed gorgeous as well as the meat. I had the squids which were perfect and the fish pie. Absolutely lovely.

After a morning swim in the lake, my boyfriend and I where dying for a hearty meal. I suggested the green dragon as never been and just googled it once or twice. Can I say that the food absolutely exceptional and I have recommended everyone in the area. It is definitely our new spot and we’ll be back soon.
