A really nice activity garden for younger visitors to Hampton Court Palace, plenty of space to run, climb, slide along with a large sandy area for playing in. Take a bucket and spade.

They operate a wristband system when it's busy but you should still get at least an hour in the garden. Be prepared to queue to get in.

We visited for my 5 year old daughter. Little did we know the whole family ended up having a brilliant time sliding down the hills.
Garden itself is beautiful, also has a cafe.

I really couldn’t have ended our Sunday any better than we did by touring the magical garden with my little ones on what was a warm sun drenched Sunday afternoon in June. Lots of fun times had exploring the sand zone, water spouts and beautiful flora. Great memories!

Honestly, this is an average as most parks but unfortuantely there is an entrance fee that is combined with the Palace. The magic garden isn't worth the fee alone unless you are wanting to visit the Palace. It's a basic concept of a few structures near a cafe, the only recent introduction is a shallow water play feature , again no other play equipment.

Magic garden is really amazing for kids especially with summer coming soon. Kids can play with water, there is a cafe and bathrooms. It has sand and water fountains. It is beautifully decorated for kids imagination to be knights and princesses. It would have been nice to have soma kind of music for ambience though

A fantastic place for the kids to play and explore. Seems to be something to find around every corner.
Great mix of water features, slides, climbing, open space to run about and burn off energy. First time here and definitely will not be our last

A nice over-hyped playground inside the Hampton Court palace.

In it were-
1) 2 slides
2) A Large sandpit area with water pumps ( a hit among kids in summer)
3) A circular lawn where you can just sit and have fun. ( As per rules, no Picnics allowed... But people still do it)
4) A small Cafe for soft serve and pastries.
5) Restrooms and Nappy change
6) A small buggy park area

Ticket price to enter Hampton Court palace(which is how you can access the magic garden) was 32 £ for an adult ticket and no charge for children under 5 I guess.

What a truly wonderful day out!! Take splash park gear and maybe consider parking in Bushy Park as it's free. We had a couple of hours in the playground and then left to have a picnic in the park before returning to splash for another 2.5 hours. Great value for money as you can return later in the day for no additional fee.

Suitable for all ages and heaps of fun to be had! The smalls particularly enjoyed the slides and damming the river and the grown ups loved the shaded seating area and the view from the bridges!
