I recently visited VIVA Supermarket Hamdan, and I must say that the experience was extremely disappointing. From the inadequate management of queues to the unprofessional behavior of the staff, it was an overall frustrating encounter.
Upon entering the supermarket, I noticed that there were two cash counters available. However, to my dismay, only one counter was open, forcing all the customers to endure a long queue. I waited patiently for over 20 minutes, growing increasingly frustrated as time passed.
To make matters worse, the customer before me decided to argue about the price of a product, claiming that the staff had provided misinformation. This disagreement dragged on for an additional 5-10 minutes, causing unnecessary delays and inconveniences for everyone in line.
Despite my attempts to inform the staff about the extensive wait and my urgent need to catch my bus, my concerns fell on deaf ears. As a result, I missed my only available bus to my area, leaving me with no option but to wait an additional 30-40 minutes for the next one.Then I had to endure a 2.5 km walk under the scorching UAE climate to finally reach my home.
It is evident that the staff at VIVA Supermarket Hamdan are poorly trained and lack a sense of respect for customers' time and effort. The billing process took an unreasonably long time. Moreover, the failure to open the second cash counter, despite the growing number of customers, reflects a lack of consideration for their patrons.
I sincerely hope that the management takes immediate action to address these issues. Proper training programs should be implemented to ensure that the staff understands the significance of providing efficient and customer-oriented service. Additionally, it is essential to have a system in place that allows for the opening of the second cash counter during peak hours.
In conclusion, my experience at VIVA Supermarket Hamdan was highly disappointing. The management must prioritize their customers' needs and ensure that such incidents do not recur.

Since these supermarkets are extremely different from other B Class supermarkets in terms of their products and display, they cannot be compared.
The products they offer are diverse and some are awful, while others are adjustable. Compared to other supermarkets, the prices here are less expensive, but it is difficult to find the right shelf and find out which categories & products are available. Nevertheless, this is a good experience for someone who wants to explore the market and try out new products.
Briefly, you will not find what you want, but you can pick substitutes for a cheaper value, which may or may not be better.
