Liked: Loved the location, the view of the loch from the pod was amazing. It was so peaceful and although there were 6 pods, you were not overlooked by others. The fire pit on the beach was a bonus and plenty of wood available to gather.
The pod was warm, clean and comfortable and the toilets and showers were nearby. Did not use the social club but menu looked nice. The nearby cafe was really nice and there were good walks around the area, especially the waterfall walk, the falls were stunning. We were lucky to have clear sky at night and the stars were amazing. Some of our party saw shooting stars.
Great place for a really chilled break.

Liked: Amazing location- secluded. Open doors to the loch.
Wendy- the lady who did the cleaning- was so lovely. She helped us get some logs and marshmallows when the shops were closed. Thank you very much! Only one cafe in the village but very quaint and nice. Spent a fab time as a family!
Midges were there at this time of year but with enough midges spray, long sleeves etc- managed to dodge bites.

Liked: Liked the location and the view on the lake in the morning. We did travel most of the time and spent only one full day on the site. There is nice community pub open over weekends and nice little cafe round the corner. Definitely enjoyed the stay

Disliked: Nearest proper shop is about 40min drive in Oban. The metered showers are not the best when you have children with you

Liked: Loved our overnight stay at Loch Awe Camping pods, the pods were spotless and big enough for 2 adults, an 11 year old and our dog. Our son loved the fire pit and had greatvfun toasting marshmallows after a dip in the loch. The toilets and showers were spotless with cleaning products to use afterwards.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Location. We had a boat with us, and were able to keep an eye on it from our pod. All clean and tidy, including the water facilities which were just up at the community centre, about 50m from the pod.

Disliked: No dislikes really. We were not bothered by midges.... early in the season and enough breeze to keep them away.

Liked: Pod was clean. Enough utilities in it. Where pod was situated.

Disliked: Bedding useless. Wasn’t worth money. Smelled not sure how clean. Turned out a music festival on which was never mentioned at anytime. As we went for a quiet couple of days. Although must say everyone was very nice and not too noisy.

Liked: A lovely clean place .pods are good and sufficient. Great views all around. Pub onsite and a nice wee shop 2mins away and well stocked.

Disliked: There is 2 toilets/showers which is fine for 6 pods. But we occupied 3 pods between 5 adults 2 teenagers and 7 and 3 year old. In the morn when everyone gets up it's a race to toilets.but when you get there showers are occupied. You can't use the pub toilet as not opened yet. I would rethink this situation. I know showers can be quick .but try saying that to 2 youngsters.

Liked: The Pods are located perfectly to maximise the spectacular view whilst feeling very private. Great facilities at the site including clean bathrooms, hot water for dishes, a lovely community bar which was open on our last night. We had a larger pod which was very comfy for 2. The microwave made self-catering easy.

Disliked: Not all dog owners respect the on lead policy which meant we were visited by a dog from one of the forestry cabins almost causing a fight with our own. The facilities were noticeably tired (but still clean) this year compared to our last visit at the end of 2021.
