We had our first visit earlier in the week for Breakfast, was brilliant service & food then so we went back with the children today for a Sunday Roast. Our server Seb was absolutely fantastic & the food was perfect, couldn’t complain about a single thing including the price! The atmosphere was also brilliant, it was relaxed but still very kid friendly & didn’t feel at all chaotic, all left very happy. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later!

Driving passed and we decided to stop in. 1st visit and we were very impressed. The service was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. We were not disappointed with the food either. It arrived quickly and was piping hot. Lindsie our server was amazing.

We came here today for lunch as a family of 6 and cannot fault the service or food. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was served quickly and all tasted delicious. We will definitely be back again.

Lovely friendly place to eat.
Sunday roast value for money. Jist needed a little bit more gravy. Wish we had been given a gravy boat to add our own.

Made to feel very welcome and our waiter Joe was very professional, polite and welcoming.
He was really helpful when choosing our food absolutely rushed off his feet but always had a smile he was an absolute delight and a credit to the pub.

Service was slow, considering there was not that many in. Chicken very dry. My granddaughter ice cream had almost melted bye the time it arrived. Other people were served who ordered after us. Definitely room for improvement.

If I could have given this zero stars, I would. Came as a party of 4 adults and 2 kids. Waited ages for the food (not what anyone wants but especially when with children) and when the meals came 3 of the 4 adult's meals were cold. The waiter did offer to go and see if we could have hotter ones brought out, but we wanted to eat together. I had a roast, the stuffing and gravy was nice. Peas were, well, like peas. Carrots had all flavour boiled out of them, the Yorkie was leathery, and the beef was dry and tough. In fairness, the adult and one of the kids who had steaks did enjoy them. When we complained we were offered free desserts but overall experience has put us off coming here again.

I hadn’t visited the Bridgewater Arms in a long time, but I am so glad I did. The food was hot, delicious and fantastic value. I had the Chicken Tikka Curry, and while it had a kick, it remained beautiful, while my mate had the Fish and Chips, which was a healthy-sized portion, meaning you wouldn’t leave hungry - the staff in the kitchen were on their game too. I want to mention some staff who served us throughout the evening. The staff there are incredibly welcoming and friendly - Heather, Tom, Archie, Seb, & Barney, to name a few. Top-notch, ladies and gents!
