Service was very good. Would we go again ???? Probably not. Nothing bad about the place, the food was lovely. But had better value elsewhere. (On paper)
The midweek menu looked better value.

The staff are friendly and respectful and eager to meet your requirements. The evening meal was excellent and the menu is varied to suit all reasonable tastes, typical British pub food, just the way we like it but with quality too.
The room was excellent too, with plenty of room and with double aspect windows, a small balcony with french doors, a large size tv and super king size bed which has high quality linen and pillows aplenty too, very comfortable to sleep in, probably a medium comfort mattress.
Bathroom is a nice size with bath ???? and powerful Mira fitted shower ???? over bath, toilet and basin with nice size mirror. It was one of the best bath ???? experiences I've had in years, plenty of powerful hot and cold water to get it exactly the way you like it in seconds ????????
We stayed in room 4 which also has 2 bunk beds suited to kids.
Breakfast was great with attentive service, and quality food and a filter coffee to finish with ☕ ????
