Very nice touristic boat ride. Great for kids too. Ours touched the water and there was a lot to see around for them. Also, the tour is a nice way of taking pictures with Burj Al Arab ????

Loved the place. Very soothing experience, calms the mind. The abra ride is absolutely recommended. The place looks straight out of a movie.

Lovely 30-minute boat tour of the Madinat Jumeirah resort area with perfect photo opportunities of the charming hotel architecture, palm trees, blue skies, and of course, the fabulous Burj al Arab. The ticket desk is located outside behind Souk Madinat, between Trader Vic's and Americano, and opens at 10AM - price is 100 AED per adult, 50 per child. (I read on a travel blog that it was 50 AED for UAE residents but this is not true.)
Seats on the abra are cushioned and comfortable. Our captain and tour guide Dilip was friendly, caring, and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the ride, as well as tips for planning our new year's eve elsewhere in Dubai. Caution: there are no railings on the boat and it could be easy for active children or less coordinated adults to fall overboard - no life vests were given to us upon boarding - the waterways are not deep (1 meter or so) but I would strongly recommend parents exercise vigilance when riding with infants/toddlers or others who cannot swim. (Also note the canals are seawater, there are jellyfish and other potential hazards.) Aside from those concerns, and the somewhat high ticket price, this is an excellent outing for just about anyone, as long as it's not too hot. Bring your sunglasses and your camera, and wear a photogenic outfit, you won't regret it!

Der Ausblick auf Souk Madinath und Burj al Arab ist toll, die 100 Dirham für 15 Minuten Rundfahrt jedoch nicht wirklich wert. Kann man machen, jedoch versäumt man nicht all zu viel wenn man nur zu Fuß eine Runde macht.

100 дерхам с взрослого и 50 с ребёнка за 20 минут. Но оно того стоит из-за цены нет толпы - очень романтично прокатились и сделали классные фото. Дали купон на скидку 20% в соседнем ресторане.

Классно - рекомендую хотя бы 1 раз прокатиться, даже если вы не постоялец одного из отелей, но раньше цена была почти в 2 раза дешевле за эту же услугу - а летом ещё и жарко - можно было бы небольшую скидку ????
