Truly an international airport. Clear signs for everything. The check in process was smooth so was security and immigration. Lots of food options to eat. Good big food court. The duty free shop is really good and lots of choices for everything. The bathrooms were clean. Good security. Good personnel to help you with everything. The staff is very helpful. Smoking in limited areas of departure.

Terrible line management! The staff at counter are so rude! They have zero manners! Customers in line are arguing cuz no one is managing the line. Checkin area number 4, Terminal 1. There is no baggage drop? Why have online checkin if there will be no baggage drop counter!? There is no self checkin counter. But worst of all the staff at counter are rude, inefficient, and useless. I even asked management to step in but no use, felt like some lowly village airport with animals roaming. As a UAE, you'd think that there would be some class, knowledge, rules, and civilization, but think again! You should be ashamed! As a UAE airport you should have better management, something to be proud about, but this service makes me never want to fly here again.

quite old and not very modern.
It was extremely crowded.
But good organised.

What I really appreciated is the uber pick up zone for arrivals!

Smooth and easy to navigate, till you hit the luggage carousel. Maybe there is some official data on the average wight time for luggage but my average has 90 minutes over the last couple of years.

There many shops and good business lounges. Very classy airport. But washrooms are always flooded with water

I recently visited Airport Terminal -1 and was disappointed to find that most of the power sockets for passengers were not working. This was quite inconvenient, especially for people like me who need to charge their devices while waiting for their flights. I hope the airport management fixes this issue soon to improve the passenger experience.

Very disappointing. The belt stops working suddenly and there is no one even to fix it. Takes forever for passengers to come out. There is no proper place for arrivals to get into the car. They have to go to another world just to get into their car. Or get parking for just 5 mins.

Why sit and fix the belt and not start another belt. It makes no sense. So disappointed.

Terminal 1 services most of the big name foreign airlines that come to Dubai. As such, it's not as well serviced or maintained as Terminal 3 that is dedicated to Emirates flights at its home base.

To get to the departures area (Concourse D), you need to take a train from the check-in and security area. This train is regular but can get busy. Similarly, when you land you need to take the train to get to baggage claim and immigration.

At Concourse D, there's food, shopping and duty free as you would expect at an international airport, as well as airline lounges. However, it's a far cry from Terminal 3, even though it doesn't feel as crammed as Terminal 3 can get.

Overall, it's less polished and more dated than Terminal 3 but it serves its purpose. The car drop off area out the front can also be chaotic, with heaps of cars during busy periods and often traffic controllers forcing cars and taxis to stop further away from the entrance to the terminal.

A kind gentleman allowed my elderly mother to go in front of him at the pharmacy. When we got to the front of the queue, we asked to speak to the pharmacist. She was just finishing with another customer. So the assistant served the kind man who let us go in front but the pharmacist knew him and started looking after him - completely ignoring us. My mother is 92, extremely frail - really not impressed. I didn't make a fuss aa didn't want to embarrass the other man. This isn't the first time the service in Boots GX has been shoddy.

I like Boots, but the Gerrards Cross branch is disappointing.
1. The pharmacy is very slow indeed. They take a long time to process prescriptions, and there is always a queue. The pharmacy staff are slow!
2. They charged me the full NHS prescription price for a private antibiotic which was £3.50 in another pharmacy.
3. They don't answer the phone. I suspect it may be put on hold to avoid answering, as it is often an engaged sound for the thirty minutes I keep trying.
4. I was also sad to see the empty makeup shelves - I don't know if it is to avoid pilfering, but it looks as if the store can't be bothered to fill them.
All in all, we rarely go there now. We have moved to the other pharmacy in the town, which is much more on the ball.

Awful and abysmal. Staff are utterly rude! Unprofessional like to stand behind that desk and like to just talk and don’t let you leave the shop without selling. Very expensive aswell. The healthier lady with the dark skin has too much attitude it’s awful out there. Never going again????

I have been trying to get hold of boots over the phone about a prescription for over a week. They either dont answer or hang up immediately. I am a uni student living away from home and struggle a lot without mu prescription.
Lack of care and response in healthcare is shameful. The staff are really slow too whenever im in there

Suffering with lack of staff at the moment or just disorganised, who knows. Often a long wait or queue, would be good if staff pre-empted the situation by letting customers know what's going on.

More than a week to get repeat prescription. Supposedly text message was sent but I never received it until I sent a message to my GP. Perhaps they are overwhelmed or new team are in.

I Went to the Store on 1st June, 2023 at 12.50 and can not believe that the store is closed for lunch break until 14.30. The website says open all day.
