Just had a meal here at Greenstones, had to leave half the beef due to gristle and tough to cut, by the time my family and I got back to our table the meal ranged between warm and cold and the Yorkshire puddings were limp and chewy! I will not be returning considering this cost with one round of drinks, over £49 for 2 adults and a child! Photo below is actually half of each slice of beef given to me????

We were greeted so nicely on Sunday,I assume it was the manager . We took our grandson with us and had a Calvary and was so impressed we returned on the Monday. The lady behind the bar informed us that a special offer would be coming out and to look out for an email. I wanted to see who served us Sunday and again Monday he name is James and he had excellent service. My son and his family have moved this way so we are visiting from Kent and I must say the staff here are so much more impressive than any other Marston we have visited

Coming from Cambridge, I met up with a friend from the Dereham area, who recommended the Greenstone. She couldn’t have picked a better venue. The food was excellent, not only was there a menu with numerous choice, but also a carvery, with various meats. In the end I chose to have steak, which also came with scampi. The steak was done exactly how I’d asked for it. Perfect evening, the ambience of the place was very warm and welcoming, and the food superb. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit here again. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️.

I popped into Greenstones recently whilst visiting some friends in the area. The main attraction for all of us is that a carvery is available throughout the week,which we all ordered and enjoyed . It's competitively priced with a good variety to choose from. It was pretty busy too. I'll be calling in again when back in the area.

A pub that serves food. Had a carvery. Was an average bit of food....warmed under the usual heat lamps. Cauliflower cheese was tasty. Yorkshire was dry and crispy. Beef was spot on. Had a couple of different ales on which was good. Pleasant staff. Sat outside near the road which was actually ok.

I booked online for a 5.30 time slot. Very much looking forward to carvery.

At 5.30 we arrived to be met by the meet and grump lady (that's not a mistake) who told us there was no carvery apart from apart from maybe a 'bit of gammon' and that the chefs were clearing away but if we were quick we could have it.

We decided against and went to Wetherspoons.

Is it a new policy to close the carvery at 5.30 on a Sunday afternoon?

The steak was excellent, properly rare as we asked for, veg equally good. Staff were efficient and attentive when they needed to be but not intrusive. Asked for and got a doggybag as the portions were generous. Bombardier beer good and not too cold.

Absolutely love this place so much!! We come here quite often for a delicious carvery and a sneaky piece of cake for later ???? 100% recommend it! All fresh and tasty food!
