I was at Amer Centre a few times during the last couple of weeks. I was transferring my daughter’s visa to her new passport and seeking refund of deposits for 2 servants who had returned home.

In the former case Francis was incredibly helpful and explained the process diligently and gave me tokens to complete the process with the staff. importantly he assuaged my concerns and patiently worked me with as the process was completed over the next few days with issuance of revised EID.

In the latter case he requested me to get my Servant’s files to help me sift through the paperwork. When I got the files he diligently went through the paperwork and filled up the refund applications. Again patient, diligent and obviously very knowledgeable.

Amer Centre is lucky to have staff like Francis!!

One of the worst experience I ever had
One week a go waited for 45 minutes in Q when my turn comes the agent representing Amer look like he didn't want to work I was about to leave due to his attitude, then he convinced me to finish the transaction, so I did,
yesterday they sent the Emirates ID with no changes on it, though I have no time to waist, but I had no option, so I revisited asked for the branch manager the said he is not in today, waited for another 45 minutes when my turn comes the agent said that the application they sent was correct so I need to go to barsha tomorrow, when things got so heated they offer the manager number where in the beginning the refuse, they have done nothing but spreading frustration and throw you like a ball, so in my opinion with the experience I had I feel that they are not good enough to handle your request. You better go to the source to get things done rather waisting your time with someone who is not willing to help you.

Have to praise Francis at the reception desk. Helped me within 15 minutes to get a complete contract with my nanny... extremely efficient.
It's great to see employees like him who are ready to step out and get things done quickly

I do not recommend anyone to contact here!!! I have been doing a visa for my wife for more than a month. I've been there more than 5-6 times already. Every time they ask to bring some kind of document. This is provided that I immediately brought them all the documents, but by their mistake they either did not make a scan, or they want to look at the original again. In the end, the photo I took at the professional center does not suit them. I only found out about it when I wrote to them myself! Each time they are sent to a different specialist and each time they ask the same thing. You have a common base!!!!! I gave my details probably to all employees except the cashier. You cannot be calm about your documents here, you are constantly stressed.

I have lived in six countries and traveled through 60+, and dealt with offices providing governmental services worldwide. I met many customer service representatives who lack skills to be successful at what they do. But among them all, the lady sitting at the reception desk of this AMER center takes the crown for the most rude, unprofessional staff in this category who offers nothing but complete lack of willingness to help. Providing such a terrible experience to customers who walk in here to respectfully obtain the necessary information they need for whatever services they try to use, completely ruins AMER’s reputation. The irony of my completely useless and terrible 3 minute interaction with this lady was that she was sitting under a sign called “customer happiness center”. Please either remove that sign, or hire staff who are actually willing and able to listen, hear, effectively communicate (in English and Arabic) and provide information in a respectful and professional manner. Thank you!

Came to renew dependent visa and the process was amazingly smooth. As long as you have all documents you will be in and out in minutes.
It’s also next to the medical testing for residency visa so you can make application for emirates ID as you register for medical at this place, then walk to get tested in the medical center next door.
The next visit would be at Amer once medical result is out to submit visa application. Finally once visa is approved (ours took less than 12hours) you visit Amer and they’ll stamp it in minutes.
