During a recent trip to the mall, my pregnant wife started feeling nauseous and needed a place to sit for a few minutes. However, we were met with an unfortunate and heartless response from the boss (did not seem to be an employee).

Even after explaining that my wife was pregnant and urgently needed to rest, the staff member simply brushed us off and asked us to leave. It was clear that he didn't care about our situation or show any empathy. Instead of trying to understand our request, he pointed to a bench in the mall that was already occupied by someone else.

In my opinion, it's crucial for any business to to prioritize empathy and compassion. This particular staff member failed to recognize that, he could have potentially gained a customer. It's a simple concept of give and take.

For your reply below. - My 6 year old had a bag of pop corn from Novo Cinema that she was crunching. Is that what you call food that made you kick out a pregnant woman? You have used the word “welcomed”. You are clearly out of your mind. You did not even listen.

Over priced items and extremely poor service. Made a simple order of coffee with cold milk, took the waiter 5 min to look for cold milk. While having coffee and my girls drinking the slush puppy the waiter brings the bill?? Wanted to order crepes when my wife reached but decided to get it from another store.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment and deep dissatisfaction with the appalling service I received at Mom's Crepe, a little restaurant located in Ibn Battuta Mall. My visit to this establishment today was marred by a profoundly disrespectful encounter with a man, who I believe to be the BOSS.

While at the mall with my husband and little daughter, I suddenly felt dizzy after a considerable amount of walking. Without even thinking for a moment, I rushed to the nearest available seating at this restaurant, Moms Crepe. However, instead of finding solace and understanding, we were subjected to anINCREDIBLY RUDE AND HEARTLESS treatment by this man.

This MAN had no regard for basic decency or customer service. He immediately began yelling at us, demanding that we leave the premises without any explanation or chance to communicate. He pointed towards mall seatings that were full and crowded. Despite our attempts to comply and explain my condition, this man showed no empathy or compassion. He continued to shout and humiliate us in front of other patrons, leaving us feeling utterly disrespected and humiliated.

It is incredibly disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior, especially when dealing with a vulnerable situation. As a pregnant woman, I was particularly shocked by the lack of consideration shown towards my well-being and the overall disregard for customer satisfaction.

This incident has left a lasting negative impression on me and my family. I firmly believe that individuals like this man, who lack basic empathy and respect, DO NOT DESERVE to be in the service industry. It is my hope that this review serves as aWARNING to potential customers, highlighting the abysmal treatment I endured at Mom's Crepe. I would definitely have grabbed a drink, only if he had let me breathe a moment.

I strongly advise others to consider alternative options within Ibn Battuta Mall and avoid moms crepe. They don’t even deserve a star, i only had to put it for the sake of leaving a review.

Location of mom's crepe is perfect. In China court of Ibn Batuta Mall. Behind big chinese historical ship. We ordered ice cream, caffe latte and ice tea. Ice cream is good. Caffe latte taste normal. Not bad not super good. Iced tea is canned iced tea. Hence quality of iced tea is guaranteed. We expected handy made iced tea. Just we disappointed a bit.

Definitely not value/quality for money, though I understand Malls have higher price usually. Manager/owner behaved in a not so customer friendly manner. He could be nice inside but was not comfortable.

I really love this place. They make such tasty crepes and waffles with none of the fuss of the major restaurant chains. Support this small cafe right next to the boat in China Court, IBN

Was just chatting to Assaad who had made himself a Turkish coffee. On saying how much I loved it he immediately gave me his one.

I love dupporting local in these tough times and Assaad made the experience even more special with great food and excellent service.

Overpriced uncooked pathetic mess of a waffle.. ordered a kinder waffles. The owner just smeared plain white chocolate with a drizzle of milk chocolate syrup.

Stopped for a refreshing juice of the day plus an ice cream. Good service. Good menu selection.

Nice spot, right in the centre of the Ibn Buttata Gate Mall.
