The Peak District appears to be an EV charging desert, so I was at first delighted to find a facility - even a slow 7kW one - with 4 charging points and 8 bays for 8 cars. However, 6 of the bays are marked 'Mixed Use Parking - electric and other vehicles'. Every one of those 6 bays was occupied by a non-electric car (see photos)!! The 2 bays marked for electric cars only were both occupied by electric cars (one by me). However, with a charge rate that didn't exceed 4kWh and a sign at the entrance that said 'Maximum stay one hour', I gave up and tried elsewhere. If we're to be serious about encouraging EVs, then this needs to be changed!
