Newark marina
In our 35yrs experience the best yard we have used this is the 3rd Time we have carried out maintenance here the staff are experienced and helpful in the extreme nothing is to much trouble,
After lift out they spent hrs scraping our hull bottom in order to save us time and work , this was at no extra charge and without us asking but very much appreciated.
To James and all his yard team & staff joan and I extend our heart felt thanks

In all a professional and friendly boat yard with no hidden charges we recommend them without exception

I'm not normally one for writing reviews but when you come across a business that delivers such good service. How can you not?

We visited Newark Marina to test out / commission a sailboat that we hadn't been able to get in the water since buying her due to Covid restrictions etc. Newark Marina agreed to launch her when other marinas in the area declined the job. From the outset James and his team couldn't have been more helpful and made light work of the launch. Over the time that we were there, it was clear they're used to handling much much larger vessels and it was impressive to see the way they managed them with such ease.

Zebedee did look somewhat like a fish out of water amongst much larger, more expensive boats, but we were made to feel very welcome and the staff couldn't have been more helpful whatever we asked of them. Having been fleeced earlier in the year to go camping, the cost for mooring as a visitor was more than fair and with significantly better facilities.

A huge thank you to James and all at Newark Marina staff. You guys are an absolute treasure. I'm sure we'll be back to see you one day. Well once we too old or fragile to go sailing or the good lady tells me I am!

Has nearly doubled in size since we bought our first boat from here and also later sold it through the Marina. Have now bought a second boat from then, and as ever great service, keen prices good quality. Been to other marinas where prices are higher and quality lower.

Could have saved several tanks of petrol had we gone to Newark Marina first.

Brilliant! I purchased a boat through Newark Marina where they carried out a complete refurb and a few years on they have sold it for me. Top quality work and a great sale price. The service is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. James and his team are knowledgeable and highly skilled, special mention must go to Dave the GRP wizard. Thank you James, Jo, Steve, Dave and all.
