Excellent position, quiet and elegant,approximate to Dubai Mall. Life here is Very convenient as the Carrefour is on the first floor, and it is fully equipped with swimming pool, gym, med and so on.

Great tower with many facilities and a Carrefour, pizzaria, Manoushe restaurant, Pharmacy, and several ladies salons within a 1 minute walk.

Always feel welcome. Fantastic staff and food. Thank you ???? not always easy to go somewhere to eat with my one year old grandson. Always willing to make my visit stress free

My second time here and both times the food has been amazing. Very friendly staff and very good value for money with massive portions!

It’s been a long time since we have paid a visit here, so we thought it was time to do a review.

Starters.

Prawn Cocktail
The prawns were well presented in a glass with crisp lettuce and side serving of bread.They were fresh, tasted great and a generous serving.

Homemade fish cakes
The homemade fish cakes were presented well with fresh salad. They tasted great, we’re light and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and worked well with the salad. They also came as a generous portion for a starter.

Mains.

Jumbo cod and chips
The fish was HUGE this is definitely a portion for two. Although the fish tasted fresh, not too greasy and was nicely battered.

Scampi
Biggest portion of scampi I’ve seen. Freshly cooked, nice and crisp and tasted nice.

The restaurant has a lovely modern interior which is crisp and simple.

The staff are polite and friendly and are willing to help in any way they can.

Overall the food was good, the staff are excellent the restaurant is clean and tidy. However our main criticism is the portions of food. We were looking forward to a desert however there was simply not enough room left.

We would be happy paying the same for less food because it’s great value for money.

Booked a table but arrived 30 minutes earlier than we thought, No problem. They had a table. Ordering was prompt and food arrived in good time. Portions are large and the food was just perfect. The staff are attentive but not overly so.

Having been going to Stuarts for many years with no complaints and recommending it regularly, several of us went this time and we were terribly disappointed. The food was poor; scrappy bits of chips, portions were varying sizes, bread was dried out on one side and some of the pots of tea were only just warm. Considering there was only 2 tables with anyone on, including ourselves, when we had finished the main course, we had to wait for quite a while before our sweet order was taken.

A few years ago I lived in Beverley and I used to drive past people queuing up the street at Stuart’s of Driffield there. As a huge fish and chip aficionado (having done a few of the national award winners, including Anstruther) I made a point of going one rainy weekend and I remember it nostalgically as being one of the best I’ve ever had. Flash forward a few years and I find myself in Driffield, pondering - if that chippy namesake in Beverley is here, maybe I can revisit and reassess just how good it is?

I can tell you unequivocally, this is a god tier fish and chip shop. It’s right up there with Wetherby Whaler, Anstruther and Oakdale chippy in my opinion, national award winners stand aside, as this is a relatively undiscovered gem!! (Though the queues and rammed cafe tell me that the locals know full well!)

Go out of your way to visit here, every element was sublime; perfect light crispy batter with thick flakes of fish, golden crisp chips, deep rich earthy peas, fruity curry sauce, classic soft bread and butter. Everything was a stellar representation of the art.

Not only would I go back if in the county, I will tell everyone I know that Stuart’s of Driffield is one of the best fish and chip shops in the country.

Just had fish, chips & curry sauce all in a box and it was amazing. I live by the coast and despite some strong competition, this was one of the best fish and chips I've had.
The portion was huge including a very large haddock.
Reasonable price too, at only £7.80 for the lot I'll be coming here frequently.

Popped in the other afternoon, never had a fish fritter before, to die for. Great chip shop and good value
