During the week, we checked out Canteen Asia which in inside Back to Grills Restaurant as they are running a dark kitchen concept.

This place is like one spot to satisfy all your Asian food cravings without burning your pockets!

What I liked :

Pricing - ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Presentation - ⭐⭐⭐

What we tried :

Som Tam Salad - Perfect salad , slightly tangy, spicy and crunchy! Loved it!

Black Pepper Chicken - Perfectly spiced and tasty!

Prawns Thai Green Curry- Hands down to one of the best Thai Green Curry I have tasted so far! It was sooo soo good! MUST TRY!
Beef Oyster Chilli - It was okay.
Chicken Tom Yum Soup - Another best item that we tried...Absolutely good!
Coconut Rice - Yum Yum Yum and I am going back for more , is all what I can say!

Coconut rice with the Thai curry was match made in food heaven!

Definitely recommending this place!

I ordered Singaporean Laksa soup and sticky rice. I was very excited to received and to eat my sticky rice, I was thinking Thai or Singaporean sticky rice, but to my surprised I got normal jasmine steam rice for 16 dhs. I was so upset knowing they are serving Asian foods how on earth they put on their Menu. I feel like I was being doped. normal rice alone for 16 dhs!?? I could buy one sack of Jasmine rice for it. so sad :(

We keep ordering from the Al Barsha branch and this time ordered in from the Oud Metha branch while visiting a friend in the vicinity. The food as usual was very good, delivery was super fast. Their Thai Green curry is a must have. They have maintained a good standard. The food tasted the same and was happy with the consistency . This branch also offers dine-in. Next time we have decided to dine-in and try the rest of their dishes.
