Kulsum is the best transformer at Cutting Edge Ladies Ibn Battuta. Highly recommend them. First my aunt was in doubt with the colour and how it will turn out but at the end it was mind blowing.

She did a wonderful job.

Cutting edge Hair Salon
Ibn Battuta Mall, Jebel Ali
Located in Ibn Batuta Mall next to the food court licated near metro station.
Near Brands for less and the access bridge for Permier in and Avani hotel available on site.
Location is perfect and it is easy to locate, you will find 3 stores, salon for ladies, and spa and men salon.
Did a haircut and shave, staff was friendly and easy to communicate with.
The place is clean and well maintained.
Did my hair cut and beard trim as per my request.
Prices are fair and very reasonable.
Will be visiting again soon.
Flrgot the hair stylist / barber name, we was very good.
He had long hair, since i don't remember the name ????

I went this salon for hair cut (feather cut) the result was amazing nd i really like it . Thanks to Elizabeth, she have magic in her hands ????u200d♀️????. It was my first hair cut in Dubai and i choose the right place for the makeover.

0/0 experience. If I didn't love my hair I would've left extremely insecure.
Whats the point of being a hair dresser if you cant deal with different hair types???

Apparently blow drying African hair and curls is too difficult and I was refused this service. Trying to have a calm conversation with the lady and she took it as if I wanted to fight. I do not usually like to throw this word around as it is a big accusation but I felt extremely disrespected, and as if my “type” of hair was deemed undesirable, unattractive and too much to work with. I would never in my life recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to a salon to feel beautiful! Honestly its sad cos i was excited to bring my whole family to your salon but i would rather shave my head. What I experienced was a form of discrimination.

Side note-
Thank you for reminding me that God made me like this, even if you said it to lighten your refusal, some people like me actually love curly hair and never want to change it, not everyone fantasizes to have straight hair.

A customer for over 5 years, and more than 20 referrals from just my family and friends. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

You've taken loyalty for granted, your services have been average for a long time but our loyalty and relationship with the lovely staff is what keeps us coming. Since the expansion, the management is riding a high horse and thinks their customers do not know their business tricks, false advertising and over booking methods. Honestly, what happened to your customer service?

The area is expanding and there are other, better salons people can go to within the area. You sell service, once you forget that, we forget you as well.

If you want a quick trim, go ahead. But cutting edge is really cutting low on standards for regular customers.

Bad service, unhappy staff and greedy business ethics. Not recommended.

My wife and her friends went for Facial and they were very happy and appreciated the service provided by staff Kulsum, Hiba and Devnit.
My wife wants to go back and try other services as she felt satisfied from the way of treatments and welcomed.

Thank you Shefali for always obliging to my busy schedule. Kulsum, you did an amazing job on my hair. You have an amazing ability to blend highlights and know what colours are suitable for what age and hair. Even after all the bleaching my hair feels amazing.
