Nice modern pub, food is average, particularly since the demise of the 2 4 1 deals. Now not up to wetherspoons, but 33% more expensive without the drink. Staff are great, location and decor very nice, shame that the chain management aren't taking the financial crisis into consideration and offering better value.

Me and my partner have eaten here on a few occasions now and I have been very happy everytime we've been. The staff are all lovely and the food was very good. We will definitely be coming back and the fact we now live in Crediton is a big bonus :)

Considering we were a very large table of guests and spending a lot of money, the manager wasn't very helpful when it came to our difficult dinner. Had we known that the Sunday menu was restricted we would have probably gone else where. But all we asked was for a mixed grill to be told no as its Sunday menu but could order the different meats as full meals off of the Sunday menu. Ie gammon and chips , steak and chips and add them to a meal of sausage and mash. We were not asking for a meal that you don't normally do as its on your normal weekday menu. Waiting staff and kitchen staff were very good to get 14 meals out all at the same time.

Our last visit was probably over two years ago and wasn't good, and we'd decided to avoid the place since then. We'd heard that the place had improved considerably since our last visit and decided to give it a go. We were really happy with the service we got - the staff were welcoming, polite, very friendly, and gave a great service. The food and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for, and we'd happily come again.

We've been here 3 times now in space of a few weeks it's that good. we came last night for my birthday and the manager went above and beyond like he always does. friendly staff and great food thank you

Been here couple times in past few weeks as we were extremely impressed with the food. we came here last year and was disappointed but glad we came again, the manager is great very welcoming and accommodating. Will be back.

Food was lovely, came out really quick and hot.
Staff happy, friendly and helpful. Yseff was very efficient and nothing was too much trouble with all our changes!
Lovely meal, lovely place. We will be returning. Thank you ????

Very well run establishment. Greeted with a smile and efficiently shown to our table. It was busy but we ordered drinks and meals really quickly and easily. Lovely atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.
