Awful - there was no proper clues , riddles or story line to the escape room.
Just some random guy chasing you with the chainsaw.

There was some rusty nail / piece of metal sticking out from the door frame. I got a huge gash in my arm and was bleeding.

When I told the guy at the reception he didn't even apologies or say anything - just looked at me blankly.

I ended up going to the emergency and getting a tetanus shot and bandaged up my wound.

Horrible customer service and extremely dangerous. Please do not go here

We were told if we wanted leave the room we could raise our hands and they would let us out, me and my friend raised our hands for a few minutes while the actor was attempting to grab us ( he also had a taser ) in my panic I attempted to open the door but it was locked and the handle fell off. They eventually let us out and when we complained they laughed it off. The taser later malfunctioned and burnt my friend in the leg.

1 star is more than they deserve

One of the best live Horror/Escape Room I have ever visited. The overall experience was really wonderful and entertaining. The additional touch of the live actor was the cherry on top, it took the whole experience to a different level. If you get scared easily or know someone that gets scared easily, please visit DeepDark it will be totally worth it.

They currently have 2 escape rooms - Paranormal and The Sinner. We went for the Paranormal Escape Room, the puzzles in the room were fairly simple. However, unlike the other escape rooms where your mental skills are only tested the Paranormal Escape Room tests both your physical and mental skills. The whole experience lasted for around 50 minutes.

We had booked our tickets through GroupOn as it was cheaper there. But a prior reservation was required to visit DeepDark. Overall, DeepDark is a must visit Live Horror/Escape Room. Really liked the setup and the idea. It was really unique. Would recommend DeepDark to everyone.

Last but not least, a big shoutout to our host Hussain who did a wonderful job assisting us. Keep up the good work !!!!!

We played the PARANORMAL last night at 9pm and it scared the heck out of my friends!!! Hahaha. Well, I was pretty scared as well, but we managed to solve the puzzles even with all of us screaming and even hitting each other and running for our lives! Hahaha. It was super fun!

We laughed so much! It was so scary but in a really funny way! We all worked together to find clues and crawl through dark tunnels. I went with my friends for my birthday and it was a lot of fun.

Went in with no expectations. Came out with bruises and kicks to the face. This place is not meant for 6 foot guys and everything was meant for kids under 5 foot.

The puzzles were nice and easy to solve but the torchlight we were given were all out of batteries and we couldn't see anything in the extreme mode.

But overall it was a great experience, I got to see my friends get scared and I would like to thank Hussein for the great customer service.

Honest review.

Went there with my friends (5), first room had countless objects irrelevant to the puzzle, after which the game master spoke on speaker to guide us where to look due to the sheer irrelevance of most things in the room to the puzzle. This pattern went on throughout the rooms. There was not a single room where proper clues existed and the announcer was not "directing" the whole process. It was a terrible escape room experience.
Puzzles were not thoughtfully arranged and clued, if anything I'd say they were lazy and badly designed.
Highly recommend against going here.

Not for the faint of heart.
An ordeal so terrifying that it was brilliant. The best horror themed escape room in Dubai that literally makes you want to escape the rooms whether the time runs out or not. The vibe in the rooms are intense and the puzzles well put. Best to go in groups of 5 or lower (less people, more fear). Highly recommended if 'horror escape the room' is what you are looking for and not a puzzle room.
