It's a nice place to have a stroll, walk the dog, or have a picnic on top of the slope. It has some parking along the road but it might get busy during the day. I saw people doing some kite-surfing when i came. Looked really fun! The huts along the slopes are so colourful, it's a perfect place for pictures.

Lovely area. Lovely grass area with no dog mess I might add as. Cafe area. Was only there for a couple of hours, but was peaceful and relaxing

I just went for a long walk, being bank holiday everything was closed so we enjoyed a peaceful walk and admire the place.

Beautiful and quiet beach option for a family trip to the sea.
Shallow waters with very fine sand but muddy in places. Town center close nearby and delicious ice cream shops and fish and chips shops around.
Free parking available on some nearby roads or paid parking just on the seafront road.
Toilets also available close to the beach.

Nice pebble beach. Life guards. Great little snack bar with friendly staff. Clean toilets. Just a short walk from Whitstable.

Nice place to walk the dogs, have a picnic or a cuppa. Free parking to the side if you can park early enough. Pebble beach, beach huts, cafe, steps & slopes.

Great place to walk and cycle. It's a rocky beach, but one can have a picnic. There is a restroom facility and benches up on the slope. Great place to view sunrises and sunsets. Usually always quite windy.

So much space (apart from parking on the top of the 'slopes') to enjoy the spectacular views . Tankerton has a few small independent shops, cafes, pub etc - not to mention charity shops and colourful beach huts.
