PLEASE PLEASE be aware, customer service can not assist with anything other than information.
I had a horrible experience in Dubai. I am a diabetic and my medication is suppose to be refrigerated. When I got to customer service desk to ask for accommodations for my meds the “ supervisor “ was unable to assist. I lost $2500 worth of medication.
When I asked him what I was to do his response was “ I don’t know, I’m not a doctor”
When I asked for a supervisor he said “ I am the supervisor”
Additionally, I asked for contact information and was given a card with an email.
THEY CONDUCT BUSINESS VIA EMAIL ONLY. It will take forever for a response and even then it’s not worth anything. They DONT CARE.
I explained my situation to another associate and he proceeded to tell me that Emirates was the worst, and that the ONLY concern they have is money.
Not enough? I sept 5 hours on a wild goose chase yesterday because I was booked with a 23 layover and not given ANY accommodations. When I asked for an upgrade because I was stranded in the airport for so long, they only support offered was……….. you guessed it. Send an email!
I was instructed my Emirates staff to leave the terminal to go to a certain area to try and find assistance….. what they didn’t tell me was that I would be unable to re-enter because my flight was more than 8 hours from departure and your not allowed to go through security that early! ( remember I was told to exit by an employee)
Again, email us! We will investigate? How convenient that you investigate after I’ve already been delayed 23 hours, been stranded, and home.
They will never see another dime from me, and I surely hope this review helps someone else guess again!

The email also indicated that I had 24 hours to respond otherwise the order will be cancelled. This implies that there were no issues with the order and all that was required was a confirmation from my side, which I did.
A few days they sent another email to tell me that the order wasn’t processed because it takes two days to process or deduct the points.
Surely these checks can be built into their systems so that no money is deducted for shipping etc.
I have also requested a seniors name so that I can escalate the matter. No response as yet.
For a company that claims to provide “world-class service”, the service I experienced has been quite sub standard. Please can someone contact me to resolve this matter urgently.
