It’s been nearly 2 hours and still waiting for my delivery, the food may well be amazing, but at what is now 9:30pm I doubt I’ll get to taste it. Rude, unhelpful person on the phone informed me it’s a problem with my location - no one else has had an issue delivering here over the 6 years we’ve here. Hungry, hangry and never ordering from them again

Ordered from here for the first time and food was fantastic. We had egg fried rice, salt & pepper chicken and the roasted duck pancakes. Everything was delicious, the chicken was very soft and juicy and the duck crispy with a thick hoisin sauce.

Gee wizz what a spectacular meal! Never in my life have I had anything quite like it. A symphony of flavour. A feast for the senses. I always thought to myself “nobody does Chinese curry sauce quite like the UK” but gracie chen’s has proven me wrong. Truly powerful stuff.

When it comes to food, I prefer to let it speak for itself!
Some how tasted worse than it looked!
And charged £7.50 for the privilege.
So much for this place being recommended?
Never again will I go to this place, forced to give 1*.

Chips were cold,hard and covered in black bits as if they were cooked yesterday. I threw them in the bin, I will never go back there, the food is disgusting. What a waste of money.

Sadly, the food has gone down hill since the whole rating debacle. Will be using other local chip shops from now on.

Great little shop.
Their menu is large and extensive, chips, pies, fish, wraps, and pizzas ... plus more.

This chippy was recommended to me and I must say I'm very disappointed. The service was very slow mainly because there was no fish already cooked. The girl who served me was very polite and courteous but I was dismayed to see she had no apron on or a mask and she used her hands to put the fish in the frier and she didn't appear to sanitise her hands before handling the fish and just a quick swill after and wiped on her clothes.
By the time I got the food home the box was saturated with grease and was dripping in to the carrier bag.
The fish was very greasy and overcooked and there was more batter than fish.
I don't think I will be buying from here again.

Excellent fish. Freshly cooked. Huge portion so 1 is plenty for 2 people. Huge portion sizes for chips. A large is plenty for 3 or 4 people with normal appetites! Lovely lady serving.
