Service is excellent, food is great. High chair available for children and plenty of space. You need to call to book - wish they had online booking. Will go again!

Not impressed with our takeaway for 4 people this evening. First and foremost extortionate price for just a few dishes - £60 for chicken balls,chow mein, a curry and a rice. 60 pounds!!!! Secondly they forgot to add the prawn balls (which now I'm happy they did because goodness knows what they would have pumped the bill up to), and thirdly we asked for delivery and were informed the delivery driver was off sick so to add insult to injury we had to go pick it up. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!!! Won't be using again

Lovely traditional restaurant. Meals arrived at our table hot and a small heater was placed in the middle to keep the food warm. Each dish tasted fresh and we each said that it was the best Chinese we have had. They are open for lunch and dinner, which is great as the Chinese restaurants where we live tend to only open in the evening. Will definitely return!

An incredibly succulent Chinese meal. The food was some of the best Chinese I had purchased in time. At a price point of 16.70 for a two course lunch, we were heavily satisfied.

The decor was en pointe (Chinese), beautiful and authentic, including the junk boat sails, large tiger dragon and the stencilled acrylic dragon light. It was a scenic setting for such a brilliant meal, especially when one takes into account the 300 year old Italian wooden carved ceiling, fantastique!

Our waiter was outstandingly courteous and knowledgeable about his fine eatery. He prepared us for a fine meal through his eloquent explanation of the establishment, which put us at ease as we were taken on a journey through his asian routes through both the extraordinary food and his whitty anecdotes.

The palace was Chinese.
The food was Chinese.
The ceiling was Italian.

We have not been to this restaurant for at least a year and it would appear there has been a change of ownership since then. Previously the food and service had always been first class but on our latest visit, food was mediocre for the price paid and staff acted like they couldn’t care less whether we were there or not. Hence to say we will not be returning.

Been at least 4 years since we were here
Spare of the moment decision
So glad we did
Love the decor, no other Chinese restaurants can better it in my humble opinion
Food on the pricey side but plenty of meat,fish on each dish not bumped up with veg or noodles. You get value for money.
Will be going back at some stage.

Food was lovely but very disappointed to be charged a £35 service charge because there was 5 adults and 1 child at the table. When we questioned this charge they advised us they charge a 10% service fee for 5 or more people). We certainly won’t be going back.
