Visited this restaurant with some guests visiting dubai based on a lovely experience i had at the same restaurant last year.
But this time there was a huge difference.first no one was at the reception area down, we went up, the whole salle was empty that we had to wait for few minutes then later after moving forward to the outer terrace a frowning waiter showed up and walked with us to our table without a single welcoming statement.the food was below average nothing was special or delicious ,half the food was left in the plates. No one bothered to refill the empty bread basket or ask if everything was ok. 2 waiters(not cleaners) started to clean the floor .we asked for the wifi password after seeing the name of the restaurant on the network list but they said its not working! And to make the experience worse and more embarrassing , upon paying the bill by card they said we are accepting only cash!!! So my guest had to pay!
Zero service and zero quality
Dubai is full of good and reputable restaurants visiting this place was a waste of time and money

Lovely setting by the Dubai Creek in the newly opened Al Seef district. Old town setting, bringing you some of the best Syrian flavours to savour. They have smoking and non-smoking areas (if shisha and smoke is not your cup of tea!) as well as indoor and outdoor seating incase the weather isn't too great to sit out. But personally, the outdoors is where the old world ambience really starts adding to the experience making it a night to remember. Since they take group and party bookings (there was a party of 100 taking place when we went) it might be a good idea to book your table in advance!
