Hamleys here is wonderful. Kids love the toys there plus the look of the shop is so beautiful and attractive. Staff is very friendly and helpful too.

Hamleys is surely a brand name and after its recognition earned back in London. However, I do notice they have dropped in their variety of selections they used to have (This doesnt include the Dubai Mall Store since thats the only store thats well stocked up). Also Hamleys is expensive compared to some of its well known local competitors. Also theg charge for wrapping the gift if you use their own signature wrapping paper. I have stopped buying from Hamleys and have opted to buy from others stores since the same item cost far way lesser and these stores tend to serve your customer better. These stores may look small but literally have what you want when you ask the attended or shop store person. We dont we need funny dressed clowns , loud music as attraction at entrances to attract kids to visit which is the trick used by Hamleys.

Every time I pay for gift wrapping
But this time I decide not to pay gift wrapping because its anyway gifts season and you have to provide
Its a shame that your supervisor let me leave without purchase just for small paper you would loose your business
I will never pay for gift wrapping in your store and will find another brand to buy my gifts

Your supervisor is trying to explain your policy even he knows I’m regular cus
I didn’t come to learn your policy
I come to take git and leave
He said its ok not to buy if I will not pay for gift wrapping

Good selection of quality toys can be a bit pricey but they have a good range it's the only alternative to toysrus
They also gift wrap toys for you

This Arabic - English country so why they sell switch games with another language as warning that its just a code nothing inside ?! What a waste of time no warning letter on it.

Also the price was more than x2

I had very unpleasant experience in mirdif city center today 21/8/22 around 11 morning.
Me and my child went to buy some toys. It was aed50 off above table with toys. My Daugther choosen 2 items, 1 was on table under aed50/ and I confirmed with sales assistant .
When we reached counter cashier didn’t accept it’s on promotion, Manager came and also couldn’t explain on why signage of promo just above table with toys we have choose .
They team there didn’t care that customer upsat and no explanation was given to me on why they display offer on top of items which are not on offer .
They lost AED400 which I spent for same items in Centerpoint .
I will never buy from Hamleys in mirdif city center anymore .

Unprofessional, careless.
